Top 5 Air Travel Apps Performance in Bahrain, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the air travel app market in Bahrain showed varied performance across the top five applications, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Gulf Air maintained a consistent download pattern, with weekly downloads fluctuating slightly between 374 and 501. Despite this steady download rate, the app did not generate any weekly revenue during this period.

LoungeKey experienced a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 461 in the week of September 2. Similar to Gulf Air, LoungeKey recorded no weekly revenue throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed a notable revenue stream, with earnings reaching around $371 at the start of the quarter and fluctuating throughout, ending at $342 by the end of September. The app's weekly downloads saw significant variation, with a peak of 607 in early August, followed by a dip and a resurgence to 538 in the last week of September.

Qatar Airways saw a decline in downloads over the quarter, starting at 486 and decreasing to 253 by the end of September. Despite this drop in downloads, the app did not generate any revenue during Q3.

Jazeera Airways exhibited fluctuating download numbers, beginning with 213 in early July, peaking at 579 in the week of July 22, and eventually decreasing to 145 by the end of the quarter. There was no recorded revenue for Jazeera Airways during this period.
